4 - Middle School - Summer (Pre-8th)

A Life Lesson

In the summer right before 8th grade, I had a freak injury happen during football camp and I broke my knee (Tibia). It was heart breaking. I really have no words to describe how I felt, even to this day.

I still have the two screws in my knee as a permanent reminder to never take anything for granted. Count your blessings and treat every time on the field like it's the last time on the field.

My love for the game, kept me on the field. I attended every practice, first on crutches, then once I began rehab and could walk again, I was on the field in a knee brace... with a football. You. Will. Not. Keep. Me. Off. The. Field. Period.
